After more than two years there were enough reasons to refresh the layout of '20minuten'. The overall look of the newspaper had to be updated to a more flexible and playful design (readers inquiry). To keep up with the internet and trends a young urban newspaper should be refreshed regularly.

Book / medical dictionary in doctor-coat-pocket format
The Erasmus MC in Rotterdam is one of the biggest Dutch medical centres. The ‘Hospitolk’ is a very practical dictionniary which aims to improve the communication between patient and doctor. It consists of more than three hundred medical terms and questions which can be easily found in another of the fourteen languages due to an intelligent system of numbers

A critical view on the objectivity / subjectivity of media. Are messages being communicated without interpretation? Can you speak of censorship or manipulation?
The reason for the choice of the topic were the attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York, 11 septembre 2001 and the following discussion in the German policy, anti-terror-paket by Otto Schily, federal ministry of the interior.
Two newspaper articles are analysed by a series of rhetorical means, which all reveal their diferent messages to the reader.

Series of stamps, 35 x 35 mm
Presenting Goethe's life and work, each these stamp shows his face by buidling on typographic elements and different shades of grey. The higher the monetary value of the stamps, the smaller the detail.

Education doesn't cost anything - but nobody wants to have it. The tendency of the exhibition is to wake hope and to motivate. Free of clichees and negative prejudice the exhibition represents the panorama of the German education system. Ideas of improvement are presented. By means of wide photographs, fresh colours, well-known sayings and metaphores the topic is presented in an innovative way.
